Four/4 full set of Tole ware advertising plates - created and advertising Brasserie Bouchart in St Amand - France - these date from the 1940's and are in excellent condition.

Often these plates are rusty or badly scratched when we come across them - but these are fine, sharp and clear - a few light surface scratches (around the rims - predominately) 

Each plate depicts with a lithographic print one of the four seasons as painted by Nicolas Lancret a French painter. born in Paris -1690-1743. on each of the plates.

On the reverse is an advertisement for the Brasserie Bouchart , one of the largest brewers in France at the time - advertising the medicinal and health benefits of drinking their beers
