This website is operated by Retrocollects French Interiors. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Retrocollects Interiors.  Retrocollects Interiors offers this website, including all information, tools and services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here. 
 
PRODUCTS 
Products may be available exclusively online through the website.

All our items are genuine French treasures - we always describe as accurately as possible & to the best of our ability (we have too many years experience in interiors and antiques/vintage than we care to mention 😉 but we are always mindful of gaining and expanding our knowledge) - We always describe & highlight any damage or "quirks" the piece may have However please note that most of our unique antique & vintage items, many of which are 100 years or more old and have been used previously. There will always be signs of a "previous life & history" but we believe that to be the irreplaceable charm of the item 
We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colors and images of our products that appear at the store. We cannot guarantee that your computer monitor's display of any colour will be accurate.

PAYMENTS

All payments are processed by Paypal, on behalf of Retrocollects Interiors - and therefore we do not have access to any financial or card information. All your financial information/and your purchase is fully protected as under Paypal terms and conditions.

 

DESPATCH​

You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and account /address/email information for all purchases made at our store. We cannot be responsible for non-delivery where incorrect/or incomplete address information was given at checkout.

Orders are normally dispatched within one or two working days of the order being placed. We will update you and forward you a tracking number - Please be sure to check your emails -Some deliveries may require a signature upon arrival. In the event of you being unavailable to receive your order, a card will normally be put through your door with instructions of what to do next. Please be aware that most postal services will only hold undelivered items for one week. Proof of postage will be retained for each dispatch.

Any import duties incurred, relevant to the Country in which you reside, are the responsibility of the Buyer. If an item is returned to us -due to the failure of the buyer to pay any import duties - any refund due will be subject to deduction of all costs incurred to ourselves. 

We reserve the right to charge for re-delivery if the package was not collected, or if a re-delivery was not arranged by you on receipt of a card from the Postal carrier & we cannot be held responsible for problems incurred by inaccurate delivery information being supplied.

PACKAGING/ENVIRONMENT 
Fragile items require superior packaging to ensure that they travel securely & safely to your door, this usually requires the use of some form of plastic/poly based packaging. 
We use re cycled packaging wherever possible. 

Please ensure when purchasing an item that the Country in which you reside does not impose any restrictions on the import of such an item or the material of which it is composed of .It is the buyers' responsibility to ensure items purchased are permitted to be imported

If you are seeking a particular vintage French item that you cannot find in our shop then let us know and we will do our utmost to source it for you

General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR)

 

Items offered for sale in the European market are expected to comply with GPSR regulations.

​Retrocollects French Interiors offer pre-loved vintage and antique collectibles. Consequently, detailed information about their origin, composition, or materials is not available. Most of the items were manufactured by companies that no longer exist, this and their age suggests they may not meet current safety standards. This does not necessarily make them unsafe, just manufactured in a different era.

Any relevant GPSR compliance information we possess will be included in the product listing. However, in general, all items should be treated as decorative or collectible. 

 

If it is intended to use an item for purposes other than part of a collection and display, reconditioning may be necessary.

All electrical items, such as lighting, are made for French homes and must be checked by an electrician  to ensure they comply with your Country regulations and requirements.
