French moorish lantern- sourced in France dating from the 1950's /60's - Moroccan /North African in shape and style - The main body is octagonal with 16 round cabochons in red, blue and green.
It is constructed from a golden metal, most likely brass

It has pierced work around the top, centre & base.

The top and bottom of the lantern is finished with an attached finial.-the top section has two screws which allow access to the bulb holder and bulb.

This lantern is wired - and has the fitting for a bayonet bulb holder, but could equally be used without electric.

Condition - The lantern is in good vintage condition - all the cabochons undamaged and intact - the metal of the lantern has some small knocks & dings - there is no rust (Please do check out the photos they are there to give you a clear indication of the item and condition).
