Gaston Suisse was born in December 1896 in Paris and died in March 1988 in Paris as well, at the age of 91. Coming from a family of artists, his childhood was rocked by his father's works and artistic teachings. First, Gaston Suisse discovers oriental aesthetics, as well as the animal world. Guided by his father, the young man developed his self-taught talent before finally joining the École Supérieure des Arts décoratifs. Thanks to this academic teaching, he developed such a technicality that he was rewarded in 1913 and 1914 .
His work can be viewed in many museums including:-
