Heavy French forged, huge iron Coat /Hat Hooks - 5 - potentially 10 useable hooks- four integral brackets to affix to the wall, Ox-blood coloured spheres form 5 hooks and then at the top of the rack five corresponding scrolls create potentially another 5 hooks.
Dating from the 20th century - 1930/40's or similar- The iron is rusted in places where the paint coat has lifted - but it is smooth and does not discharge any dust, markings or similar. Smooth and worn on the spheres with a gentle and time worn patina. We love the time worn patina - but this coat rack is so substantial it will outlive us all and if you wished to rub back and re paint - this would be perfectly feasible.
