Two/2 Main course plates - Antique French Terre de Fer/ironstone - each stamped on reverse but so faded difficult to decipher - a crown is visible and a shield.

We have not come across this design before - swallows swooping down over a river a City with a large church/cathedral in the background - perhaps Notre Dame ?

Each plate is in good antique condition - no chips, One has an old very fine hairline - more visible on reverse rather than on the front - typical of ironstone. rubs around the rim.

Each plate is 9"/ 23cms in Diameter
