Pair of antique French majolica ST AMAND plates hand painted. The colourings on these plates is just heavenly an aqua glaze basket weave effect rim in relief and hand painted flowers and foliage around the edge.

The plates date from the turn of the 20th century - early 1900's

The reverse of the majolica plates carry the St Amand stamp & the number 543
It measures 8.75" /22.5cms in diameter

Condition -The plates are in good antique condition - no chips to either plate one has a fine hairline on the outer rim (priced accordingly) light knife marks visible on one plate. Please do check the photos out and enlarge they clearly show the condition of the plate and are an integral part of the description.
