This is exactly as we found - A 1926 Copy of French language children book "Une Folle Equipée" printed by Hachette - the book alone is delightful with many illustrations and a cover which epitomises Art deco style and design - but inside were 22 colour cuttings from the Illustration magazines of the 1920's also (1926 /28)
L'Illustration was a weekly French newspaper published in Paris from 1843 to 1944. It was founded by Édouard Charton and the first issue was published on March 4, 1843.
- most are architectural - all beautiful art images and magazine images of the South of France - this is someones personal collection of images they believe to be inspiring and beautiful. We adore the way they so perfectly capture that era
Condition is good - most if not all of the prints are perfectly suitable for framing or reprinting
The book itself is time worn and shows wear and light damage to the pages - but the cover whilst faded is a delight.
Size of folder 10"/25.5cms x 7"/18cms
Ideal for the collector ephemera or to frame selected ones or print for creative projects .
