Pair of antique French ironstone terre de fer Toilette/soap dishes - with a pair of King Charles spaniels- one black and white and one tan and white.

We believe these date from the 1930's - but could quite possibly be earlier - they are unmarked on the bases -as many early French terre de fer pieces were- irrespective of age they are quite charming. 

The dogs sit at the back of the oval indentation- perfect for soap - but could equally be used as change/trinket dishes. Although a pair the size of the dish is slightly different.

Condition - Good antique condition- slight discolouration and wear commensurate with age (see bases) light crazing throughout.
