Superb heavy PAIR of French antique Directoire/Napoleon III style heavy bronze sconces . These are circa 1920's/30's a high end casting with fine detail and weight /they are initialled signed on the reverse - The are stylish and elegant.

Central bronze support with black contrast area and stylised rose detail .The arms scroll and curve graciously , they have decorative bobeche.

The double candle lamps are set at the same level- 

Condition - Good antique condition -Fully working - No damage - these are as found- we have lightly cleaned and not polished in order to maintain the original patina - but they would polish up if the buyer preferred to bring up to a high shine -there is a small amount of light tarnish on them, which possibly could be removed with some careful polishing, alternatively we like the aged patina.

They take 4 small edison screw European E14 bulbs 

US and Canadian buyers can find bulb adapters on line to use their E12 bulbs with these E14 fittings. search 'E14 to E12 adapter'
You will require 4 adapters, they cost approx 2-4 USD each. The adapters screw into place allowing you to then insert your E12 bulbs which will then work normally on 110v. 
Alternatively E14 bulbs are readily available to USA and Canadian customers through online US based lighting suppliers.

The lights work and are to French electrical safety standards(they have been checked) - but we would always recommend that all lighting is checked prior to using - by a qualified electrician in order to ensure it complies with your Countrys' regulations- these consist of a simple wiring that would be easy to change should regulations require.
