Amazing and rare pair of Large French fine porcelain benitiers- Glazed with bisque cartouche in the centre and hand decorated with 24ct gold and claret.
The stoup below Christ & putti is to hold the holy water.
These date from circa 1920 and came from the most impressive and elegant house in a town not too far from us and a town where many of the Limoges factories originated from - So it is most likely, although unmarked ,that these are Limoges Porcelain- but they could equally be Old Paris Porcelain- whichever they are quality pieces and to find a pair of was so exciting..

Condition - Superb - outstanding condition- very little rub, no chips , cracks or crazing - these have been treasured pieces . They do have wires that have been loosely fastened around to secure to the wall - these could easily be removed if required.
