PAIR OF superb French 1930's - bronze Country Wall sconces - electric wiring and fully working.

These are large with real presence and quite capable of making a statement on a large wall.

They have large oversized bobèche & drip trays - they carry the original candle covers and have wonderful detailed, elegant scrollwork on the arms 

The single candle lamps are set at identical heights - 

These were absolutely so dirty when we found them - possibly years of open fires - with some hard work - you will see in the last photo the transformation - they were definitely ugly ducklings awaiting to turn into beautiful Swans!

The bulb holders take standard Edison screw bulbs E14(chandelier bulbs)- these are obtainable in the USA online and are known as European E14's

On the back are two integral metal loops/hooks to secure to the wall 

The wiring is plastic coated, looks fine & the lights work - as always we do recommend you check when you receive that everything complies with your own countrys' regulations and standards - 

Condition - Good vintage condition - no damage - there is a tiny area of discolouration on one of the bobèche - but does in no way detract - please do look at the photos and enlarge they clearly show the condition and are an integral part of the description.
