This is a huge antique French cross - most likely cast in spelter - with great attention to detail and superb patina - an aged green, grey, bronze silver colouring - simple ageing over many years.
At the top it reads INRI (Jesus) - it has a hole above for fixing to the wall.
In our opinion this would look superb and imposing in an industrial style setting - equally at home in a contemporary setting - this could also be easily painted if preferred.
We believe it to date from the turn of the 20th century - early 1900's
