Each lamp takes a E14 screw fitting bulb (chandelier bulbs ) - they are all fully working. 

It does appear these may have had back plates - which were possibly left attached to the wall !!- but I think it would be perfectly possible to find an alternative method of fixing to the wall- either 't' bars or right angled hooks.

Condition - Good vintage condition - No damage to the shades, no chips or cracks - there is a small amount of light tarnish on the gilt finish- oxidation and tarnish (please see photos

US and Canadian buyers can find bulb adapters on line to use their E12 bulbs with these E14 fittings. search 'E14 to E12 adapter'
You will require 4 adapters, they cost approx 2-4 USD each. The adapters screw into place allowing you to then insert your E12 bulbs which will then work normally on 110v. 
Alternatively E14 bulbs are readily available to USA and Canadian customers through online US based lighting suppliers.

The lights work and are to French electrical safety standards(they have been checked) - but we would always recommend that all lighting is checked prior to using - by a qualified electrician in order to ensure it complies with your Countrys' regulations- these consist of a simple wiring that would be easy to change should regulations require.
