This work is an Impressionist-style oil painting on canvas board & framed in patinated wood. The painting shows a traditional view of Venice with a small brick bridge spanning a canal and building facades in soft painted hues. The surface exhibits a thick oil paint texture, with visible brushstrokes that accentuate the movement of the water and light. 

We believe this painting to be circa 1950's
