Pretty Vintage French Gold coloured Metal Casket Hinged lid Jewellery - Treasure chest - dating from the 1940's /50's
Open decorative lid with grapes /vine design - seems appropriate that we acquired in one the famous wine growing areas of France - with open work on top showing red lining/baize behind - . It sits on three feet and has decoration around all sides - inside it has a red baize lining both on the lid and in the base.
Perfect display item - with a practical useful purpose also.- Great vintage gift
Condition - Good vintage condition - a little rubbing as would be expected in places - but adds to the vintage charm.
