Adorable French toleware birdcage chandelier, The frame is burnished and aged toleware with sculptured leaf detail on the arms - subdued and authentic.- It has 3 candle bulb holders- the candle drip covers are the original gilded metal.

This dates we believe from the 1930's

This has all original crystals - almost each and everyone on original wiring. We have had the bulb holders replaced to modern requirements and the wiring is silk covered. It is fully operational and suitable for immediate hanging.

The crystals are beautifully faceted , clear and bright - a particularly attractive feature is the heart shaped crystal that hangs from the base - so charming & eye catching.

Condition - Good antique condition - wiring to current French standards and fully working (it has been rewired since manufacture) . No missing pieces , there are tiny nibbles around the centre glass ring on one of the drip trays, this is covered by the candle covers.

- we would always recommend that all lighting is checked prior to using - by a qualified electrician in order to ensure it complies with your Countrys' regulations- these old french chandeliers do not carry an earth wire
