A beautiful religious antique item.
This book is dated 1888 and was given as a communion gift on the 13th May 1923- the original gift card is inside.
507 pages - each page has beautiful & intricate detailed borders.
It also includes original signed lithographs with tissue protective cover sheets - each of these are pristine with no damage
This truly is a fine example of a Missel Prayer book in beautiful condition- the side front and back are lined with a taffeta water silk.
The box has a couple of "nicks"- on the top - both visible on the photos - and the silk has a split on the inside opening hinge - again visible in photo.
