RARE pair of French antique wooden Tennis rackets- circa 1900's - made by G. Louvet. Paris (both are clearly marked in gold at the top of the handle) This Parisian company made rackets for many famous players - they later became 'Louvet & Darsonval'
One racket is marked 13.5 & one 14 (weights)
All strings are intact - no breakages
One has leather butt still intact- one missing. Both rackets have matching wooden presses with original bolts, washers and wing nuts.
Rare to find two early tennis rackets in such excellent condition and by such a reputable French maker.
