French antique Flour sieve - these would be used in Country house kitchens and make fantastic display pieces -Primitive in styling and formed from a strip of wood secured to hold firm- a second ring of wood holds a fine metal mesh in place.

This has been used - but it is in good antique condition - the wood is free from any damage or termite presence & has a rich dark patina.

The metal gauze is free of any tears or damage - it has come away very slightly at the edge in one place - but this is not visible when displayed.
