This is an absolutely magical French antique Art Nouveau Ring/Jewellery box /Casket it has it all- central superb enamel on porcelain cartouche of beautiful pre-Raphaelite female - two raised decorative spandrels to highlight. engine turned top, creating a lattice , basket effect, further fine engine turned work on the sides with a twisted cord effect around the edge of the lid and the edge of the base.
It is constructed from a metal which has been gilded. original red velvet lining.
This dates from circa 1900's- made in France.
