This is the prettiest petite antique French globe/glass dome - Napoléon III- It is absolutely as was and original- mid to late 1800’s. Original thick hand blown glass with rough cut lower edge.
It holds Madonna and angels/putti under a golden flower arch. It has the original cardboard rims and sits on 3 feet. The figures are constructed from salt dough and painted in gold and black.
This truly is a French treasure and one that becomes rarer as time passes by.

Condition - Good antique condition - No damage to glass globe, the globe is hand blown glass and consequently does have tiny inclusions and bubbles. The base of the glass dome was hand cut and therefore is rough - this is as it was when made.. The contents are with condition & wear appropriate to their age.- all intact and no missing or broken pieces.
