Antique French Porcelain Soupier with hand painted enamelled floral decoration with butterflies. This tureen was manufactured in Limoges and retailed through the then, huge Paris retail Shop at 90 Rue de rivoli "Aux Lions de Faience" - stamp on the base confirming this. This was the shop to be seen in - when shopping in Paris for tableware, Glassware, Porcelain & Fine Crystal. Colours of Pinks & Greens against white porcelain. Dates circa 1880-1890 Measurements-Width inc handles 11.5"/29cms  Height 8.25"/23.5cms  Condition - It is an antique piece and is free of any chips, cracks or hairlines - there is wear to the gilding on the rims and on the handles- but the colours of the decoration are strong and bright.
