Characterful French antique terracotta bust on pedestal; suggestive of a young Marie Antoinette, this piece with a superb aged and distressed patina , most likely been outside and weathered. Dates from circa 1920's.
Although the base is terracotta , there is also plaster visible and coloured layers of paint black, grey- this all adds to the grace & depth of this piece
