Not for the shrinking violet 😉 but this is a truly amazing find - A roll of block/hand genuine antique printed French art deco wallpaper frieze /border Circa early 1920's - absolutely stunning- the depth and intensity of the colours are as strong as the day they were printed. Azure blue, Violet, deep forest green, beige and soft white.
Two friezes run alongside one another throughout this length - length is 2.65 metres - which offers 5.3 metres/or 530 cms of border- OR 2 yards 32" /104" which offers 5 yards 28" /208" of border
Width of paper (total) 50 cms - Border maximum width to bottom of scallop 21cms/ 8.25"
So many possibilities to get creative with this - lampshades, border wall, books, boxes, furniture & framing;
Condition - The antique paper overall is in excellent condition (please be mindful this roll is 100+ years old these papers do have a fragility that a modern roll does not- that is the appeal and the authenticity of genuine antique papers)-No spots or damage. Colours bright
