This is a stunning tole ware French chandelier - ladened with an array Emerald green glass fruits - apples and pears and an array of clear crystal drops and swagged crystal beads- The candle covers and bulb holders are supported by large gold metal flower cups.
We purchased this light from an elegant town house on the outskirts of Bordeaux -we were told it has been in the house since it was first installed in the 1930's- albeit briefly removed and reinstalled for re wiring in the early 1970's. - therefore it has never been on the market previously.
It is a 6 candle bulb chandelier and the frame is gold painted metal -
These coloured glass fruit chandeliers are so very hard to source - they are rarely available to us to buy and this is a fine example - the glass is not damaged in any way- and there are no visible losses. - all the fruits would be hand made and they are all solid glass.

It takes 6 small edison screw European E14 bulbs - bulbs included.
US and Canadian buyers can find bulb adapters on line to use their E12 bulbs with these E14 fittings. search 'E14 to E12 adapter'
You will require 4 adapters, they cost approx 2-4 USD each. The adapters screw into place allowing you to then insert your E12 bulbs which will then work normally on 110v.
Alternatively E14 bulbs are readily available to USA and Canadian customers through online US based lighting suppliers.
Condition - Fully working -Good antique condition - the candle drip covers are the original - they are showing signs of wear commensurate with age -We have lightly cleaned this chandelier - All the drops and beads are on their original wires.
