Finest Limoges Porcelain-antique platter/tray/plate decorated by hand with an abundance of the sweetest roses, garlands linking and hand applied 24ct gilding.
The plate is signed in the central bouquet by the artist.
On the underside (of which the central part is unglazed) it has the stamp of Baranger & Reboisson - we can accurately date this to between 1927-1934 by the stamp- Baranger and Reboisson, during these dates had a decoration workshop at 62, former route d'Aixe à Limoges.
It is heavily and solidly gilded- This would be quite beautiful used as a decorative plate on a side table or as a cabinet plate- but could equally be used for table service - I also think it would look so pretty used in a bedroom or bathroom.
Condition- This piece is in good antique condition with no chips, cracks or restoration- There is some marking to the central ring of gilding - and in one specific area at '6' o clock (visible on photo) the gilding has rubbed- in our opinion this does not detract and is commensurate with the age.
