This is a huge and impressive French majolica cache pot - vibrant colours and decorated with swans on either side and colourful pink iris, so often found at the waterside.
The epitome of Art Nouveau styling- and dating circa 1880 - strong sculptured curves on the body of the pot and around the top edge -
The interior of the pot is a deep rich deep claret.
Condition- This piece is in very good antique condition & bright with no chips, cracks , hairlines or restoration- There is light crazing to the inside - . Please do check the photos and enlarge they are an important and integral part of the description.
