This is a stylish French Planter Jardiniere in gilded brass and bronze , dating from the 1800's -Napoleon III, Acanthus leaves and fleur de lys decorate its curvaceous & shapely sides , decorative ring handles at either end and it sits elegantly on 4 splayed feet.
This is the perfect size for a table centre decoration - large enough for fruit or for a floral decoration- it would also sit elegantly on a side or coffee table.
It has the original liner with ring handles intact at either end.
We have left as found and just lightly dusted.
Condition - Excellent antique condition- No damage to the planter, expected wear only, please remember this is almost 200 years old. - The liner does have a small side split at the base ( visible in photos)- which could easily be welded if desired.
