Antique foot warmer black coated metal with fretwork and 3 wooden runners along the top - Metal handle with original central wooden hold.
These are from a time gone by - when they were filled with hot coals and placed under the table to keep your feet warm or to heat your carriage on cold winter mornings.- Today they have many alternative uses - Pot pourri container ,flower display, plate warmer, food warmer or for burning incense or candles .
A French antique to add that finishing touch to your interior.
This dates we believe from the late 1800's - and is in age appropriate condition - It is made out of painted metal -which has surface rust marks-there is evidence of a few wood worm holes in the wood runners - but these are most definitely long gone - we always treat wood as a precaution.
