This is an early 19th century French bronze triple mirror sconce- heavy bronze (weighs 2.6 kilos) circular, original, thick bevelled mirror glass (6mm) - which is heavily distressed - but still reflective.
-Napoleonic III and the casting is of a very high quality.
It has an integral hanging bracket on the reverse.
Condition - Excellent antique condition - The mirror glass is as described above - but is free of chips or other damage. The bronze frame is undamaged. on the reverse - originally it appears there would have been 4 clips to hold the mirror - there are now two- but it is secure as they are diagonally opposite, you are able to rotate the mirror in situ. -At some time the bobèche have been drilled to allow for electrical wiring; but not visible.
