Set of 6 antique French ironstone transfer printed rare Lilac /Lavender Plates - all with the theme of cycling.
 
These are from the prestigious Sarreguemines French ironstone:porcelain factory and date from the last quarter of the 19th century. and are all marked accordingly on the underside.
 
Perfect to display on a dresser or similar but equally practical to use the set as intended at table service. An added advantage is all of the plates are pierced o the underside rim to allow for wires for hanging on the wall.
 
Each plate is 8"/20cms
 
Condition -Excellent antique condition - The glaze is exceptionally good -the colours strong no chips, cracks or discolouration - truly a fine set.Please do check out all the photos - they are an integral part of the description and clearly show the plates.
