Three /3 charming Chinoiserie hinged lidded French lacquered Papier Mache boxes, hand painted- each with a different scene and signed - each has a fully working push button opening and closure. One of the boxes, unbelievably has the original retail labels on.
Each is marked "Depose" (an early style of Patent) and signed BA or AB

The interiors are a beautiful duck egg/robin egg blue and are divided into three compartments
These would be used for postage stamps/ Pen nibs - on a desk

Condition - All in good antique condition - very, very light surface wear - the one that depicts a person fishing has a tiny patch of missing gold (visible in photo) does not detract.
