12 x French Antique late 1800's-1900 large Debray ironstone CLICHY plates - Claret /Pink - Amazing colour way , create a stunning table setting with these plates - These plates are in superb condition, no chips or cracks! Just some very light tea stains on one of the plates- quite unbelievable considering the age of these plates.

Éstablishment Debray was founded around 1900 by Joseph Debray in the 18th arrondissement of Paris, and a few years later opened a 2,800 m2 roastery in Clichy, a Paris suburb. His son Albert then succeeded him and opened seven retail stores in Paris. In addition to coffee from Colombia, they also sold tea from Sri Lanka and Indonesia, They carried an extensive range of ironstone and porcelain in their shops. In the first half of the 20th century, They won gold medals at international exhibitions such as those in Brussels and Turin. After World War I, the company expanded in northern France. In the 1930s, there were more than 500 branches in France. Unfortunately, its history seems to have ended after World War II.
